About the role
Build and operate distributed systems connecting billing data between Metronome and financial platforms. Ship customer-requested features and maintain event-driven pipelines for invoicing and payments.
What you’ll do
• Design and maintain integrations with billing, payments, marketplace, ERP, CRM platforms. • Build reliable event-driven systems with retries and reconciliation. • Ship features from design through launch for invoicing and revenue control. • Improve observability and automated repair of systems. • Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response.
What you’ll bring
• 10+ years building and operating backend systems. • Experience with third-party API integration and failure handling. • Experience with distributed or event-driven systems. • Experience owning production services including monitoring and incident response. • Clear communication of technical tradeoffs.
