About the role
Lead the technical direction of the team building Alpaca's Trading API product. Own customer-facing trading applications and backend systems for identity, accounts, and permissions.
What you’ll do
• Own architecture and roadmap for Trading API access and usage. • Design complex account access and permission models. • Lead delivery of next-gen Trading API customer applications. • Drive migration from legacy monolith to dedicated backend. • Set security standards for customer-facing systems.
What you’ll bring
• 8+ years software engineering experience. • Proven ownership of secure production systems. • Deep experience with OAuth 2.0 and authentication. • Strong backend skills in Go or similar languages. • Strong frontend skills with TypeScript and React.
