About the role
Lead design and development of landing gear systems including architecture, mechanism design, and testing. Support prototype assembly, flight test, and vendor management for aerospace applications.
What you’ll do
• Lead landing gear architecture and trade studies. • Own full CAD design lifecycle and structural design. • Perform stress, fatigue, and dynamic sizing analyses. • Size and select landing gear components. • Define test plans and support validation and flight tests.
What you’ll bring
• 7 to 12 years aerospace mechanism design experience. • B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. • Mastery of solid mechanics, kinematics, and GD&T. • Experience with FEA and CAD modeling (Siemens NX preferred). • Secret clearance eligible.
