About the role
Lead Uber's Detection Engineering team to build scalable security solutions and detect adversary activity globally. Own strategy, roadmap, and execution for threat detection and engineering platforms.
What you’ll do
• Define and execute threat detection strategy and roadmap. • Lead detection content development and lifecycle management. • Set direction for detection platform and pipeline infrastructure. • Drive improvements in detection latency and signal fidelity. • Manage and grow a team of security and software engineers.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field. • 5+ years software or security engineering experience. • 5+ years engineering management experience. • Expertise in detection and response programs. • Strong communication and decision-making skills.
