About the role
Work on core backend systems for Cohere's Model Vault inference platform. Focus on architecture, security, scalability, and performance for enterprise AI deployments.
What you’ll do
• Evolve and scale backend systems like authentication and billing. • Lead architectural initiatives across core product foundations. • Build reliable control-plane services for model deployments. • Design APIs and distributed systems with strong guarantees. • Integrate security and privacy into platform architecture.
What you’ll bring
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals. • Experience with Go, Python, Java, C++, Rust or similar. • Designed and operated production systems at scale. • Strong systems-design instincts and security knowledge. • Comfortable with complex debugging and production engineering.
