About the role
Build the data foundation powering AI and self-serve analytics at scale for Samsara's Marketing Data and Analytics team. Architect core Databricks pipelines, Gold Layer tables, and semantic models to solve business challenges with data products and automation.
What you’ll do
• Define strategy and roadmap for marketing data and AI foundation. • Architect and own marketing data infrastructure and core data models. • Design semantic layers and documentation for self-serve BI. • Translate business questions into scalable data solutions. • Lead complex cross-team data initiatives and mentor engineers.
What you’ll bring
• 8+ years in data or AI engineering. • Expert Python, SQL, and DBT experience. • Deep knowledge of data warehouse and lakehouse architectures. • Experience with Databricks or similar platforms. • Experience building and monitoring LLM or agent systems.
