About the role
The Safety and Security Officer monitors security, conducts risk assessments, supports incident reporting, and promotes safety compliance across LPF's operations. The role ensures staff safety and organizational resilience in a complex humanitarian environment.
What you’ll do
• Monitor security environment and provide timely updates. • Conduct security risk assessments and recommend mitigations. • Support implementation of safety and security policies. • Coordinate staff movements and travel security. • Manage incident reporting and emergency preparedness.
What you’ll bring
• BA/BSc/HND qualification. • 3 to 5 years relevant experience. • Strong observation and analytical skills. • Good communication and confidentiality. • Ability to respond calmly to security changes.
