About the role
The Primary Health Care Officer ensures quality services in targeted health facilities and strengthens health workers' clinical capacity. The role includes overseeing day-to-day activities, direct lifesaving consultations, and facilitating newborn and child health service integration.
What you’ll do
• Provide technical support for clinical and nutritional services. • Strengthen health workers through training and mentoring. • Manage medical supplies and equipment. • Oversee community health activities and outreach. • Ensure compliance with infection prevention and safeguarding policies.
What you’ll bring
• Registered Nurse/Midwife or relevant health degree. • 2-3 years humanitarian and field operations experience. • Knowledge of nutrition and health interventions. • Fluency in English and a major Nigerian language. • Ability to work in difficult and insecure conditions.
