About the role
Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing dialysis and kidney failure treatments. Collaborate with healthcare teams to manage renal disease and patient education.
What you’ll do
• Evaluate vital signs and symptoms before, during, and after treatments. • Initiate and manage hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis procedures. • Cannulate and manage AV fistulas, grafts, and dialysis catheters. • Deliver specialized medications and manage kidney failure complications. • Counsel patients on renal diets, treatment options, and long-term management.
What you’ll bring
• Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse/Midwife. • Bachelor of Science in Nursing. • Valid practicing license from Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. • 3 to 5 years clinical experience in renal or dialysis unit. • Proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and hemodialysis equipment operation.
