About the role
Seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Manufacturing Engineer specializing in 5-axis machining and advanced composite materials. Role involves CAM programming, machine setup, tooling strategy, and process development.
What you’ll do
• Program and operate 5-axis CNC machines. • Develop and optimize CAM toolpaths. • Select and validate cutting tools for advanced composites. • Develop machining processes for composite materials. • Collaborate on manufacturing plans and process improvements.
What you’ll bring
• Experience with 5-axis CNC milling. • Proficient in Siemens NX CAM and/or Mastercam. • Experience machining carbon-carbon, phenolic, or C/SiC composites. • Strong cutting tool selection and process optimization skills. • Ability to troubleshoot complex machining operations.
