About the role
Operate and maintain lathe machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. Ensure quality control and safety compliance in the workshop.
What you’ll do
• Install chucks, tools, bushings, and gears to prepare lathe. • Perform turning, facing, boring, threading, and drilling. • Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges. • Clean equipment and replace worn cutting tools. • Follow safety rules and report malfunctions.
What you’ll bring
• High School Diploma or GED. • Technical or ITI certification preferred. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. • Basic math and mechanical aptitude. • 2 to 6 years lathe machine operation experience.
