Full Stack Platform Engineer

About the role
Develop and operate Alpaca’s authentication, authorization, and Identity Provider systems. Own services end to end including API design, deployments, and debugging.
What you’ll do
• Build and improve authentication experiences in web applications. • Develop and maintain authentication, authorization, and IdP services. • Create and evolve shared libraries and SDKs. • Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot identity services in production. • Collaborate with engineering teams on identity and access integration.
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years coding in strongly-typed languages, 1+ year in Go. • Experience building web apps with React and TypeScript. • Familiar with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL. • Startup experience, comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities. • 3+ years working on systems at scale.
