About the role
Teach English language and literature to develop students' critical thinking and writing skills. Prepare students for university research and standardized exams.
What you’ll do
• Teach grammar, syntax, vocabulary, phonetics, and composition. • Guide critical reading of poetry, prose, drama, and essays. • Lead debates and seminars on literary themes and motifs. • Evaluate essays and provide feedback on structure and mechanics. • Prepare students for external exams like WAEC and Cambridge IGCSE.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree in English or Education. • Master's or PGDE in English Literature. • Registered with Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria. • Experience with Nigerian, British, or American curricula. • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
