About the role
Assist Mooring Master during export operations ensuring compliance with marine rules and safe mooring practices. Monitor tanker position and coordinate mooring and hose connection activities.
What you’ll do
• Assist tanker crew on tugboat connection bollards. • Monitor tanker position, heading, and speed. • Guide tanker crew during hawser connection/disconnection. • Monitor hawser tension and environmental conditions. • Communicate closely with Mooring Master and FPSO personnel.
What you’ll bring
• Chief Mate Certificate, STCW95 Reg. II/2. • Completed approved education and training per STCW code. • 12 months seagoing service as officer in charge of navigational watch. • Familiarity with Colregs and SBM/tandem operations. • Good knowledge of Bridge management and ECDIS.
